A community-conscious, action-oriented organization
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920 by our five pearls. Our Pearls created this sorority with the purpose to foster the ideas of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. The Sorority’s innovative programs such as Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel),
March of Dimes, Adopt-A-School, NEF (National Education Foundation), ZOL (Zeta Organizational Leadership Program), and Storks Nest (prenatal care) serve to empower people from all walks of life and inspire community action. The Sorority espouses the highest academic ideals with our members serving in groundbreaking roles in all fields of endeavor.
